Singapore Pets

In Singapore, there are 4.5 million people. 70% are born here, 20% are PR’s and 10% are foreign workers. Pets in Singapore homes are a norm. If you question any tom, dick or harry, he/she would tell you that they have kept some sort of pets before in their life. So what are the well loved pets in Singapore. Here is the list. (In random order)

1. Fish
The ultimate  Singaporean Pet. Why are fishes so adorable you question? There are a few ‘Singaporean’ reasons why fishes are very well loved.
a. Price, fishs are generally cheap except for those exotic ones.
b. Noises, fish usually do not make any noises as pets
c. Maintenance , fishs do not shit or poo everywhere. Most Singapore pet owners just do a monthly clean up.
d. House Training, I don’t see the need for singapore pet owners to train their fishes unless they want to perform some miracle  super fish.
e. Kids, Excellent for kids as their first pets.It is beneficial for the child’s development and sense of responsibility but it is the singapore parents that usually end up caring for the pet. Because of this, some parents may opt not to have any pets at all especially those who want to maintain the cleanliness of their house.
