Kaine is a 3 year ancient, clicker trained German Shepherd Dog. All of our training is is done using positive reinforcement and the clicker.     Yes, I used both shaping and targeting to teach Kaine how to paint:).

    Kaine doesn’t mind sharing his toys. I told him, “I’m gonna get you,” which is the cue initiating the keep away game. I was quicker though and caught him before he ran away:).

  15. haha when u tried to get the basketball from him it reminded me of my german shepard. he doesnt like to give up his toys haha. gorgeous dog.

    Everything I have taught Kaine from tricks to obedience cues, I have learned on my own using shaping and clicker training.

  19. i have taught taz to stand and walk! now we are working on holding the pole. he’s catching up well.he’s got some ways to go but he’s excellent.

    I used the clicker and shaping to teach Kaine how to paint. He picked the trick up in less than 3 days:).
