Why does my pet dog only wants to have male dogs around?

I noticed my pet dog snoppy only plays with male dogs only, he really runs the female dogs, I mean he chases them away, and humps his male companions, does this means he is gay? Are there gay animals, please place my mind at ease here.
Anyone out there ever had this experience with any pet. Thanks.

but there is one website that is heard if the dog is gay then the prevously owner must be gay or the owner of a dog that give birth to you dog

there are no such thing as gay animals. he is just being dominating. i have a female australian cattle dog that does the same thing… she is the leader of our dog pack, a group of three.

Ive Sean this behaviour in dogs before , your dog is not gay so dont worry his time will come ,, im going to guess a say that your dog is not a grown dog yet but still has a lot of puppy in him , and when dogs are at this in between age they hump dogs of the same sex learning about there sexuality you have nothing to worry about your dog is normale he needs to grow a small more and soon he will be like every other male walking he well want to hump anything that moves, i hope this puts your worries to rest
The dog is really showing dominance. The females are simpler to show dominance to, because he is higher in the pack then them, by being male. All he has to do is chase them away.
With the males, it’s different. Your dog has to show dominance by defeating them in some sort of combat, be it climbing on them or humping (as you so call it) them
