Importing Pet dog to Hong Kong need to be vaccinated against Rabies twice?
I am bringing my dog to Hong Kong and she has been vaccinated against Rabies this year. But I know as a Cat II country dogs going to Hong Kong will also be vaccinated against Rabies again when arriving in Hong Kong is this right? Will there be any side effects for dogs vaccinated twice or three times against rabies in the same year?

Well, when you reckon about it, all stray dogs that are taken to shelters are vaccinated against rabies and no one knows if they had a shot last week, last month, last year or never. So there shouldn’t be any side effects if that is the requirement. You might question if they waive this requirement if you get a document from your Vet that lists the shots the dog has been given.
Can’t you get a certificate from your vet? And why not question this question of your vet instead of unqualified strangers on the internet? It’s as simple as picking up the phone.
Just be careful when you take your dog over there. Watch her like a hawk. Unfortuantely they are considered a delicacy and unscrupulous persons could steal her and you’d never see her again. The asian countries, such as Korea, are doing horrible things right now. Please be very careful.
what? look on the internet excellent luck sorry i wuznt much help!
The only thing it does (according to my vet) is override the previous vaccination.
