  1. Well a cat is more independent, so wont need as much care, don’t eat as much, are very affectionate but kill wildlife and are not very obedient. Dogs are a lot more dependent and will also kill wildlife (not as much though) they eat more and are way more energetic than cats, they are also very affectionate but can become more aggressive but are usually more obedient.

  2. For me it depends on the kind of person you are. If you are more of an energetic person then you really should get a dog!!! With a dog you need to walk them, play with them, feed them, and like them! Cats i don’t reckon require quite as much work. Personally, I would get a dog, they are fantastic pets!!!!!!

  3. A cat won’t need as much to be pleased. You could leave a cat alone for hours and as long as he has a clean litter box and a full food and water bowl, he should be pleased.

With a dog, you will need to leave him alone for as most as a couple of hours. A dog can not poop outdoors by himself, nor can he restrain himself from chewing on the furniture when he gets bored. If you leave a dog alone constantly, the dog will become depressed and destructive, unlike a cat, who doesn’t care as much.

A dog is very hyper and you need to play with the dog as much as you can. A cat will be content with a couple of toys and a nice bed to sleep in.

A dog can learn to follow most orders, while a cat will not bother learning anything.

If you have the time and want a play buddy, get a dog. If you want a friend to snuggle with, get a cat. Both are awesome pets and fantastic best friends.

  4. I am going to say cat, but it really depends on what you are looking for in a pet. I’ve had both cats and dogs and must say I delight in cats better, and they are simpler to care for.

A cat is less picky about your work scedule since they live inside you wont have to worry about taking them for walks, or leaving them indoors while you run errands. They don’t require the training dogs do. If they bite you probably wont get sued, and they don’t have to be place to sleep for it. You rarely if ever have to bathe them, and if you do they don’t have that nasty wet dog smell. They will dispatch any spider or glide they can reach (no need for a glide swatter) and if they lick you they dont make a slobbery mess. If they growl at the mailman you don’t get a perilous dog citation (we had a cat who would sit in the window and growl at him and everyone laughed, if a dog did that we’d be villians).

Dogs are more needy and a lot more work, they need constant walks, to be let out to go relieve themselves, they are not as clean as cats and get kind of smelly. They cause more hurt when bored and most breeds don’t live as long as cats do. (also I would rather scoop a 2×4 box than have to carefully scour the whole yard and clean up with a shovel.) They can go camping and you can take them to parks / trails which is cool though.

  5. DOG!!!!!!!!! duh……………..

  6. dogs do tricks and really listen when you tell them to do something, but cats are simpler to care for and keep the house mouse free. its really a question of preference.
