i like dogs better. dogs r loyal and they like to play and they r there when u need a shoulder to weep on. dogs r all about making their owners pleased. all cats care about is themselves. cats only need owners to feed them and change the litter box. they could really care less

  2. We have both a dog and two indoor kitties…I honestly prefer dogs to cats though, cats are nice pets but not on the same level as dogs as far as devotion and loyalty. Cats are so independent and don’t train well where as dogs you can train them to do a variety of things.

  3. Wanted a dog, didn’t want a cat.

  4. Dogs you can really do something with. You can play catch, you take them for walks. . . they’re more social than cats.

  5. i have both a dog and a cat. dogs are more loyal but cats are simpler to care for. it really depends on what you want for a pet. for example if you travel alot a cat would be a better choice because it can left alone for a couple days and take care of itself.

  6. Dogs will allways come back to you no matter how mad you get at them for screwing soming up. Cats dont they hold a grudge against you and reckon themselfs as a queen or king type attitude. I cant stand that, dogs are more down to earth animals.

  7. Dogs are (generally) more playful and friendly than cats. I wanted a companion that would always want to be with me and make me pleased. Cats are generally more aloof and independent than dogs and i wanted a pet that would spend as much time as possible with people.

Dogs have a lot of personality and charecter, and in my opinion, you’ve seen one cat you’ve seen them all. Here is a description of a typical cat:
It scratches up whatever it wants to whenever it wants to. It sprays urine on people’s laundry, shoes, and other items. It will scratch and attack anyone it despises, visitors, children, and etc. It is hard to give it a bath because it despises water. It despises pet birds, and new dogs/puppies. It won’t come when its called.

The only thing different about a cat is its coat and color.
Dogs come in a huge variety of sizes, colors, breeds, coats, and personalities. Many dogs are different, and I can’t say the same thing for cats.

I don’t mind when dog owners choose to breed their dogs, but I can’t stand it when cat owners don’t spay and neuter their cats. Whats the point of breeding cats? They’re all the same, and will turn out the same. There is also way too many of them. Wild stray cats are the worst of them all. They run into people’s yards, pee in their kid’s sandboxes, make their dogs go crazy, and make a mess of the yard. Wild cats are really hard to catch, and they also hurt the echo system of the local wildlife.

Dogs are the best pets by far, and that is why I choose to have them as pets.
