Do cats make better pets or dogs?

Hi Teresa… either make excellent pets, therefore the question really needs to be is which is more suitable to fit one’s lifestyle.

Some people are unable to dedicate enough time to come home on a schedule to take the dogs out for a walk to help the dog eliminate, go to obedience school, bathe, groom them…etc. Cats are not as high maintenance and can be quite content to be by themselves for most of the day while you’re away at work and pleased to accept your attention when you are at home lounging around. They need affection, a clean litter box, to be brushed/combed frequently and fed.
