    Remember seeing this movie when it came out in the 70′s, and had cramps from laughing the whole go thru. Not quite the same now but still an brilliant comedy. And I would I say Johnny Depp is no Gene Wilder (Willy Wonka), but a excellent effort by both

    Peter Sellers left a pretty large shoe to fill for Clouseau. Im sorry I like Steve Martin and all, but he’s just not Clouseau. Noone else can pull this part off as well as Sellers did!!!

    A bit of trivia for you: The guy playing the ancient man is Graham Stark, was Peter’s best friend. When the prop people gave him the pipe they place pot (marijuana) in it without telling him. He got super stoned after having been filming this scene all morning, and no one bothered to tell him. XD
