My dog Emma was a bit confused by the fact that she was watching my cat on the computer. At one point she really goes over to see the cat in her box to make sure she is really there.     It is a known fact dogs cann’t percieve CRT TV screens. The 60Hz (50 in EU) refresh rate is too slow for them and they can really see the TV screen flashing.

    With the advent of LCD screns which don’t “flash” it appears dogs and cats can perceive the images on the screen.
    This video is proof.

    I was not pointing anything at the computer, besides the camera. That is the reflection/glare of something/the video camera/light on it. Not a lazer pointer.

    And if the cat REALLY wanted to boggle the dogs mind, he shoulda meowed at the same time he did in the vid. The dog probably would’ve tilted her head so far she’d fall over. Or she’d crap herself. you never know with dogs…. haha.
